TAPE-BOUND BOOK

GERTZERIA is a 50 page tape-bound collection of three essays written by three iconic central-European typographers during the introduction of the modernist era of design and typography; Jan Tschichold, Josef Müller-Brockmann, and Herbert Bayer.

The book's unique title is derived from a combination of the origins of these three typographers; GERmany, SwiTZErland, and AustRIA; hence, the title: "GER-TZE-RIA" [Jur-tser-ee-uh]. The book is divided into three chapters based on the geographical locations within Europe.
