ABOUT

Born into a creative family in Winnipeg, Manitoba, my interests in design & making were fostered at a young age and have continued since.

After high school, I received my red-seal construction electrician diploma in college and spent eight years in the trade, developing a certain 'common sense' about how things fit together and work in relation to one another. These years helped shape the practical knowledge and physical sensibility I bring to my design work.

Looking to pursue a more creatively-fulfilling career, I made the decision to return to university and obtain my Bachelor of Design at Emily Carr University of Art & Design, where I focused on product and part design.

Through my training and education, I've learned that some of my design strengths revolve around the realization and refining of my design concepts through 3D modelling, photo-realistic rendering, and digital output. My interests and skill set lies most comfortably within the complex/detailed realm of part & assembly design; elements crucial to bringing products from concept through to fruition.
